The prelection will focus on actual cases presentation which were implemented in the context of fraud detection in various gambling systems deployment. From technological point of view, it will present an evolution of complex event processing pipelines from Logstash to Kafka Streams and Esper. For more than 5 years giving his best for NOVOMATIC Technologies Poland, designing and actively developing solutions in the strongly regulated gambling industry. After hours working as a lecturer at Department of Computer Science at AGH UST, teaching about practical aspects of distributed systems software engineering and web applications development. Lately, he finally became a lunatic fan of "make it work then make it better" principle.
