Room 4 Wednesday from 10:20 til 11:10

The time span in which new software features or new software products have to be delivered is getting shorter and shorter. On the other hand, quality assurance and safety requirements are becoming more stringent. How to handle that? This talk will make a proposal on how to address these issues. I will show my experience of how to design the steps of software development to deliver software fast and reliable. And of course: to deliver a product, that the customer really needs (which might differ from the actual order). :-)

From 1&1 Mail&Media Development and Technology GmbH

Even at a time, when computer science was not taught at school, André was interested in all topics around programming and creating software. Later on he joined a company where he gained deep experience in working more as a software engineer than a pure software developer. After joining the 1&1 group nearly 10 year ago he noticed, that a lot of traditional principles have fallen into oblivion. That's why he tried to wake them up again because those things are more topical than ever. Especially in agile environments!

Out of the office, André is a passionate cyclist riding many thousands of kilometres each year on his road bike and plays table tennis in a german regional league.
