Marcus Eagan lives in Palo Alto, CA and currently leads the Developer Relations department at Lucidworks, headquartered in San Francisco. He focuses on engaging developers in the Search, DevOps, Security, and Artificial Intelligence communities. Before joining Lucidworks, Marcus led software engineering teams around the world at Ford Motor Company. Before that, he founded and built a venture-backed network security startup that was acquired by Luma Home, a router company backed by Amazon, Google, Accel, A16Z and Felicis. Marcus has made small but important contributions to many open source projects over the years, including but not limited to Suricata, Apache Airflow, and Apache Superset. |

Erik is a committer on several open source projects including Lucene/Solr and a Member of the Apache Software Foundation. He co-founded Lucidworks, promoting open source and solving challenging search problems. |
